• In one line: I read this for the interaction between the two main characters. Plot is mostly silly, and is USUALLY encapsulated/resolved within 1/2 chapters

• TITLE: Sankarea by HATTORI Mitsuru
• The mangaka is also the author of the manga ‘Umishou’ (Kenkou Zenrakei Suieibu Umishou), which also got an anime adaptation a while ago.
• Sankarea has been publishing since december, 2009
• manga has 8.1 rating, ranked #606
• In one line: I am not sure why I like this series, but I do enjoy the art, and the occasional emotional moments which usually involve the two main characters.
• reading the first few chapters will likely hook you in

• TITLE: Tasogare Otome x Amnesia by Maybe
• Has been publishing since december 2008
• manga has 8.3 rating on myanimelist, ranked #281
• he has many other works, which I have not read.
• In one line: I read this because of the nice art style, sometimes because of the plot elements, and sometimes because of the…relationship between the two main chars.

Needless to say I am quite excited, as I really liked these series (sankarea is becoming a bit less likeable now).

It will probably be a long time till these actually come out, however I have _plenty_ to look forward to next season, including:

• Amagami SS+ plus – why are there two pluses
• Nisemonogatari – watch bakemonogatari if you haven’t
• Ano Natsu de Matteru – same story creator who made Onegai teacher/twins
• Gokujyo – It’s more or less ecchi and comedy…the manga looked really silly when I read it

There are also some OVAs/extra eps to look forward to:

• Toradora extra ep (is out already but not translated)
• Carnival Phantasm season 3
• Higurashi Kira OVA 4 (LOL)
• Denpa onna ep 13
• Mirai Nikki ‘unaired segments’ ?
• Steins; Gate special

Additionally, Yuru Yuri (cute comedy and a little shoujo-ai) is getting a 2nd season at some point.

I might as well add that Katawa Shoujo is being released January 4th 2012, even though it’s not strictly anime.

More extra notes: 

It’s interesting to see that most of ‘maybe”s (tasogare otome x amnesia author) previous works are hentai (i have checked out some of them):

Hattori Mitsuru (author of sankarea)’s previous works are either heavily ecchi (umisho and otogi no machi no rena both are) or oneshots which involved yuri <3

The site not only offers quality, but also quantity –  most of the files have previews, and extra information. Below is an extract from the description of a movie (there is  more information than this).

Most interesting about this site is that it shouldn’t exist; only an ‘Internet Samaritan’ (who are few and far between) would ever even think of offering downloads for no other reason than to make people happy. What makes me more curious is that I can’t find any information on the author of the page or why the page exists! He does provide an email to request more files, however. The sheer amount of data and the detail of the description for each suggests it’s more than one person….a community, but I have no idea what this community is! If anyone knows, please tell me, I am very curious about it.

Reminds me of those mathematical fractals you can get. Sort of like the 4d fractal projected onto a 3d plane…except coloured in by the sun.

There are only two possibilities behind the door you pick: either a car or a goat. The probabilities for each are 1/3 for a car and 2/3 for a goat (before you do any switching etc).

Let us consider the first case, with the car behind the door you pick. Now the GSH reveals a goat. In this case, since the other, unrevealed door is also a goat, it would be best to not switch. Therefore, in the 1/3 case that you do have the car, you should not switch.

The other case would be if you had a goat. The GSH will unveil another goat. The unrevealed door now contains a car. In this case, you should switch, in order to obtain a car. However, the chance that this case is the one you have is 2/3.

This means that, overall, switching will be beneficial, since 2/3 times switching will will allow you to win.

I found this way of thinking through a little easier than the methods on Wikipedia. I’m not sure why. I hope my explanation is not wrong.
