Internet Anomaly

Imagine the equivalent of heaven on the internet. A server containing of all the files, apps, music, and movies that you could want. Of course, the same site should not have any advertisements, should not invade your computer with viruses, and should not make you pay any money.

I thought this type of site didn’t exist, until just now: http://media.foxwhisper.co.uk/

This site contains “Applications, Albums, Downloads, Games, Music, Movies, Porn, Random stuff, TV Shows, and Videos”, according to the directory listing. There is a huge amount of content on there (he says he as 12tb on the side he hasn’t uploaded).

The site not only offers quality, but also quantity –  most of the files have previews, and extra information. Below is an extract from the description of a movie (there is  more information than this).

Most interesting about this site is that it shouldn’t exist; only an ‘Internet Samaritan’ (who are few and far between) would ever even think of offering downloads for no other reason than to make people happy. What makes me more curious is that I can’t find any information on the author of the page or why the page exists! He does provide an email to request more files, however. The sheer amount of data and the detail of the description for each suggests it’s more than one person….a community, but I have no idea what this community is! If anyone knows, please tell me, I am very curious about it.

Good luck with not getting capped!
